Some comments from staff who work here
“The residents are amazing and my team is lovely. There is such a good team spirit here and someone is always willing to step in and help. We all work together well. Some days you cannot help but be inspired by the residents, they have wonderful personalities and show such determination, they are interested and interesting, they laugh, their humour is inspiring and I am in awe of them. I enjoy coming to work, I love being there for the residents.
“I would definitely recommend The Lodge as a place to work, days can be very busy, some days are stressful but it is all so worthwhile and when it is challenging that’s where the team comes in.” Tracy
“I Love it, it’s very rewarding and I feel really at home here, I should have done this job 10 years ago! The residents and staff are really friendly. It’s just brilliant! I would definitely recommend working here.” Emma
“I’ve been here 10 years, before that I hopped from job to job so that says a lot about this place. The Lodge has got some great staff but the Residents always come first for me. I do my utmost and all I can for the guys and girls. I can say without a doubt it is heartfelt and fulfilling.” Mal
“The Lodge Trust is a wonderful and satisfying place to work. The residents are incredible, helping me to learn more about life, while I get an opportunity to serve them. The location is amazing, serene and beautiful surroundings, where wildlife, animals and humans intermingle in perfect harmony. The opportunities for personal growth and development are also available. Shift patterns are designed to suit staff individual needs. The Lodge Trust – one in a thousand beautiful places to belong.” Moline
